Father Bohdan

Today in the Gospel we hear how Christ goes through towns and villages, preaching the Kingdom of God, and with Him the twelve and the women whom He had healed, who served Him with their substance. Such a quiet, faithful love, which does not seek its own, but simply stays near. And the Church commemorates the Great Martyr Artemius, who lived in Antioch in the fourth century. He was a soldier, but above earthly service he placed fidelity to Christ and accepted a martyr's death. His feat reminds us that holiness is not loud words, but a quiet devotion to the end. I wish you, dear ones, that our love for the Lord may be just as simple and faithful. May this day pass in peace, and may God's blessing abide with you and your loved ones.
